Ryan, Hawaii, USA

Beautiful weather, fantastic beaches, rich culture, and some of the best ecosystems that Mother Nature has to offer are just some of the things that make Hawaii an exciting place to visit. We catch up with Ryan, 32 a Senior Graphic Designer who has been living in Hawaii as he gives us some advice on how to best spend your time in the Islands.

What do you enjoy best in the country you're in? Any recommendations for travelers going to your new country?

"The opportunity and diversity this country offers. I am lucky to be living in a warm, tropical island like Oahu where I can go to work everyday, make a living out of something I enjoy doing then head home and walk to the beach in a matter of minutes."

"It'll take me days to recommend places to see in the USA but my home state of Hawaii is a paradise comprised of 8 islands where countless experiences await. There's so many things to do and see. In Oahu, you can take a swim in the world-famous Waikiki Beach then be hiking next at the Diamond Head Summit trail. You can spend the day driving around the scenic island hitting spots like the Pali Lookout, Laie Point, Banzai Pipeline at the North Shore and many more. Watch the sunrise at the Haleakala National Park in Maui or check out the caldera of one of the most active volcano in the world at the Kilauea Volcano National Park in the Big Island. If you decide to go to Kauai instead, you can visit Waimea Canyon aka the Grand Canyon of the Pacific or hike the 11-mile Kalalau Trail along the Na Palo Coast of the garden island."
