Just a short drive from practically anywhere in the Metro, Burrow Café in Antipolo is a great destination to get away to for a cup of coffee, brunch or late merienda, and a nice dose of nature. The cafe is located in Taytay, and is situated on a mountain slope enveloped by greenery making it an ideal setting to escape the stuffiness of the city even for a few hours.
Their menu items include rice meals, sourdough pizzas and their signature desserts and coffee, those of which we tried were all reasonably priced, well-presented and quite tasty. Overall, it is great place to check out for a unique and pleasant casual dining experience that you don't get every day in the Metro.
They offer all day-breakfast and lunch meals with a selection of vegan choices. We would recommend their Salmon with Laing and Barley, Watermelon and kesong puti salad, all their delicious sourdough pizzas and for the dessert - their crunchy black rice suman ala mode is a must try!
