Westminster

There’s so much to see in this section of the city so make sure to take time to explore the major attractions. Westminster holds many historical establishments, including the House of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, and Buckingham Palace to name a few.

Buckingham Palace

The London residence of the reigning monarch, this is where you’ll find the famous balcony where the royal family is seen greeting the crowd in grand celebrations. Changing of the Guards is during Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at around 10:45am. Be sure to arrive early to secure a spot with a great view. Hyde Park

The biggest park in London, a stroll in this lovely place is highly recommended. You can enjoy a peaceful walk with friends and family, interact with the animals there, appreciate nature and enjoy a cup of coffee in one of the many cafes scattered around numerous spots.

St. Paul's Cathedral

The church where Lady Diana Spencer and Charles - Prince of Wales got married.

You’ll be be blown away by it’s fascinating architecture and the incredible size of this structure.

Tower of London

This historical castle was used as a prison in the 16th and 17th centuries. You’ll also find the Crown Jewels under armed guard in the Jewel House part of the Tower. As you explore the Tower of London, you’ll see many life-size sculptures of menagerie animals. In the past, kings and queens liked to keep exotic animals as symbols of power and entertainment.

TOWER Bridge

Abbey Road

If you are a Beatles fan, a trip to the Abbey Road is a must. It’s just a 5-minute walk from St. John Woods Station. This road is a busy one so consider going there at an earlier time to avoid tourists and lots of running cars.

Piccadilly CIRCUS

Shopping, stores, restaurants, theatres, street entertainers, discounted tickets to broadway shows, they’re all here. A fun place known for it’s bright lights and vibrant scene, this is a good venue to people watch but not for those who hate big crowds.

Camden Town

This area has a youthful and artsy vibe that has a variety of stores selling fashion items, vintage finds, accessories and tacky souvenirs. The Camden Market has lots of stalls with a huge variety of items to purchase.

Camden is great for retro, sub culture, clothing, music and of course amazing street food. There are a lot of things to do here. This is a place not to be missed.

It can be very crowded on weekends. So it’s best to go on a weekday if you are avoiding the large crowds.

London Theatres

No visit to London is complete without a trip to a London theatre. London offers some of the world’s best theatre, from world-famous musicals to cutting-edge plays. Be sure to book ahead to take advantage of cheap London ticket deals and offers.

Tate Modern

The Tate has a wonderful selection of various modern and contemporary art that appeal to different ages and tastes. It houses some of the art of famous artists like Dali, Picasso, and Kadinsky. Definitely worth at least one visit when you go to London. It’s in a great central location and the entrance is free! After your visit take a short walk across to see the Millennium Bridge.
