Hidden Valley Springs

Tucked away in sleepy Alaminos Laguna, just under 2 hours away from Manila is Hidden Valley Springs, a rain forest paradise just waiting to be discovered. A staple for tourism in the area since the 70's, Hidden Valley has stood the test of time and remains popular, although as the name suggests, hidden, compared to most mainstream travel spots in Luzon. Sought after by foreign visitors for their famed natural hot spring pools, Hidden Valley welcomes droves of tourists every year looking to take advantage of the resort's healing and relaxing waters and ambience. Despite the number of foreign visitors who come by year after year, some local travellers are unaware of the wonders waiting for them at Hidden Valley Springs.

Making consistent improvements to the property since they opened, Hidden Valley Springs has something in store for guests of all ages. Beautiful villas, buffet spreads filled with local favorites, a nine-hole golf course, and of course the soothing warm pools where you can relax and be one with nature are just some of the adventures available to their guests. Our favorite activity was trekking through the forest on bamboo bridges and pathways to get to Hidden Falls, the resort's very own natural waterfall which is an awesome sight to behold after a relatively short hike.

Travellers looking for a quick getaway from Manila and those on the lookout for an easy adventure would be wise to look into what Hidden Valley Spring has in store for their visitors. Plan a day trip or stay overnight (or more) and get in tune with nature before returning to the hustle and bustle of city life - all without having to travel very far from the metro.
